My name is George Murphy Foster, but you can call me Pops. I got the name when I was in the Charlie Creath and Dewey Jackson bands in St.Louis because I was far older than the other band members. I played with many jazz icons ranging from Louis Armstrong,"King" Oliver, and Charlie Parker. I've had my many experiences in my life, but through it all, I was still Slappin that Bass!
